What’s on the curriculum?

As well as an introduction video explaining how to make the most out of it and an outro to support your further after you have completed all classes, the course includes

Do’s and Dont’s + Props

In this class you learn about the 5 important poses and how to practice them appropriately to avoid further physical stress and pain. 

Pilates Class 1

 This first-class focuses on releasing tension from the back and the rest of the body, and increasing flexibility in the spine

Pilates Class 2

 We are progressing towards increasing flexibility in the rest of the body. Focus also on opening the hips to allow more tension release from the lower back

Pilates Class 3

 Now that we’ve spent two weeks releasing tension and increasing flexibility, time to  build core strength

Pilates Class 4

Core and Back strength. In this final class, we are focusing on gaining deeper core and back strength.

Morning Bed stretch

5min morning bed stretch, to ensure you start the day with less pain, more physical ease, and awareness

Evening stretch

5 min bedtime stretch to do right by the bed, to quickly release hips and upper body tension

Desk stretch

A quick 5min desk stretch for tension release and postural correction

Meet Your Teacher

In 2007, while on tour with the British band Take That as one of their backing dancers, our tour manager advised I took up Pilates to prevent recurrent injuries.

Though at first skeptical (I always am of new things), I quickly became addicted to its magical healing benefits and saw my body transformed before my eyes.

My name is Isa-Welly and as well as teaching pilates, I’m a Registered Nutritional Therapist and Wellness coach.

Pilates is one of the most powerful physical practices to strengthen and rehabilitate the body. I’ve myself experienced it many times over and believe you too will.

Each class is to be repeated for a week before progressing to the next. Classes are on average 20min and must be performed daily to gain full benefits of the course.

Frequently asked questions

I don’t live in the UK, can I still do this course?

Yes you can access the course from anywhere in the world as long as you have a digital device with access to the internet

Are the videos on youtube or video?

No, the classes are hosted on a learning platform via my website.

Do I need props for this course?

Yes, you do. A small pilates ball, 2 thick blankets, a yoga strap. A yoga block is optional.

Can I be refunded if the classes are not working for me?

No, the course is non-refundable because it’s a digital course. If you are on the fence, I suggest you try my Pilates class for back pain to have a feel of my teaching style and what to expect

I've had surgery/sciatica/nerve damage, can I do this course?

Not without the all-clear of your doctor. Your doctor has to give you a written or verbal consent stating you are safe to practice Pilates in a group setting WITHOUT supervision
