Hi, I’m Welly

A nutritionist, pilates instructor and wellness coach dedicated to helping you live your best life through a simple & down to earth approach to health.

Born and raised in Togo, at age 12 I moved to Paris where I eventually studied a Masters in Business and Marketing before giving it all up for fishnets and sparkling leotards.
For almost 15 years I toured the world as a professional dancer with Take That, Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, Chaka Khan, Lulu, performed in music videos, movies, tv shows (X Factor, The Voice, Dancing with the Stars) and had the honour of dancing for HRH The Queen of England in various occasions. I also had the opportunity of working with (the other queen) Madonna as a main dancer on the set of her movie W.E . Basically I was living my dream life.

It was a fast, exciting and thrilling lifestyle but sadly I had no awareness of my health state and kept burning both end! I worked hard and played even harder!

Until one day in 2008, while performing on stage with Kylie Minogue, I had to be taken off  stage because I was in so much pain. I had no idea what was wrong with me…eventually I found out that I had big digestive issues and that my body was desperately sending signals I was ignoring.

And THAT was my wake up call.

I knew I needed to make a change if I wanted to keep living my dreams. I started my health journey from the veeery bottom. Absolutely zero healthy eating experience with a diet that basically consisted of sweets,club sandwiches, sambuca shots and an occasional veggie (on a good week).

Which is why I LOVE working with people that are just starting their health journey, because I’ve been there. And I know how overwhelming, confusing and WTF it can all get!

After many years of trial and errors, failed recipes, and the life-changing guidance of many health experts… I can say this from experience: every single investment I’ve made in myself has absolutely transformed and helped me become who I am today.

I’m now a wellness coach that understands the incredible power of exercising, eating well and resting.

One of the most important lessons I’ve learnt is that to find real happiness and wellbeing, you’ve got to go inside and take responsibility for yourself and your health. Nothing’s gonna change unless you decide to take action and do something about it.
Change takes commitment, showing up, and I want to be the cheerleader that’s supporting and empowering you every step of the way.

When I’m not teaching pilates classes, running events or coaching my 1-2-1 clients you’ll usually find me in my London flat cooking plantains, mixing essential oils, playing with my crystals while throwing moves to my favourite afrobeat playlist. Once a show girl always a show girl 😉
