Hi, I’m Welly
As a Nutritional Therapist and Wellbeing coach, I’m dedicated to helping you achieve holistic wellbeing through mind, body and spirit alignment!
When you’re trying to “live your best life,” every self-care guru in the game will preach their solutions to your challenges.
But the reality is that “living your best life” is totally different for everyone. It doesn’t come from a one-size-fits-all diet or workout plan, and it certainly isn’t about having the perfect routine, body or lifestyle. It’s about going deeper than simply exercising or eating better. It’s about knowing, understanding and trusting your identity and pursuing that universal alignment within.
And that’s what I’m here to help you embrace: a lifestyle that encourages an inner shift, so you can actually create and live your best life.
So, how the heck can I help you get there? Let me backup a bit…
Raised in Togo and educated in Paris, I ditched my business studies to become a professional dancer at age 22, touring the world with mega stars like Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, Snoop Dogg and Chaka Khan. It was INCREDIBLE. It really was. And yes I miss all the costumes, the makeup, the stage, the adrenaline… but NOT THE LIFESTYLE.
It was a fast life, and I certainly took my body for granted. Between late-night parties, airport food and a non-existent sleep schedule, my health was hanging on by a thread.
I constantly experienced hormonal imbalances, gut issues, terrible acne, extreme fatigue and other random symptoms I just couldn’t explain. Looking back now, I realize my body was screaming, “HEEEELP!”
But it wasn’t until I was taken offstage during a performance due to intense pain that I finally realized how poorly I was taking care of myself.
That was my wake-up call, and I knew I needed to make a serious commitment to my own health and wellbeing.
And THAT was my wake up call.
My own journey to healing has been a long road to recovery, but with persistence and support, I found the unique balance my body and mind crave to live in harmonious alignment.
(And this is coming from a woman who used to consider sweets, sambuca shots and club sandwiches a well-balanced meal!)
Through my own healing experience, as well as 5 years of studying the body and mind to become a Registered Nutritionist and Wellness Coach, I came to realize that self-care is not just baths, bubbles and beauty routines, it’s a holistic understanding of what your body, mind and spirit need to thrive.
This means understanding what movements will benefit your body most, what nutritional elements will have your metabolism working at peak performance and what mental stimulation will provide you with optimal energy and sense of presence.
It’s a tricky combination, but once you uncover it, you’re as good as gold, girlfriend
