Granolas have made a come back in my life since meeting my boyfriend.
He is obsessed with it. Breakfast, snack, dessert, whenever really. But the thing is, he used to eat the store bought ones…. full of sugar, super processed and not so healthy.
So instead of being the girlfriend who forbids the sugary cereals at home, I thought I’d introduce him to some homemade, healthier ones!
We started with this simple recipe of 2 ingredients that he luckily loved!
2 cups of Rolled Oats
1/2 cup of Honey
Pinch of salt.
In a bowl, put all ingredients and mix together until the oats are completely coated in honey.
Then Spread it on a baking sheet and put in the oven for 8min at 150c.
Make sure you turn it and mix it every 3min as the edges will burn quickly.
Your granola will be cooked after about 6 min ish, but will still be fairly soft.
Take it out of the oven and let it cool down for 20min. It will become crunchier then.
Granola are super easy to make, and when you get the hang of the basic recipe, you can start getting more creative by adding nuts, seeds, dried fruits, tahini and so much more!
Looking forward to sharing more of these fun granola recipes with you!
ps: These are great in a smoothie bowl 😉
